Find answers to common questions about campervan hire in Ireland, including bookings, driver requirements, optional extras and collection. The extras prices below follow our latest price list. For full details, view our pricing information and hire terms, or contact us before booking.

  1. Are your camper vans pet friendly?
Please contact us before booking if you would like to bring a pet. Pet-friendly hire requires prior approval and depends on the vehicle and applicable hire conditions. Additional charges may apply.

  2. How many people do they sleep?

Our fleet includes 2, 4 and 5 berth campervans:

    • Eire Explorer: sleeps 4
    • Eire Road Surfer: sleeps 4
    • Eire Adventurer: sleeps 5
    • Eire Pathfinder: sleeps 4
    • Eire Nomad: sleeps 2
    • Eire Frontier: sleeps 4

Sleeping capacity is separate from the number of belted passenger seats. Please confirm seating requirements for your group before booking.

  3. Do they have toilets?

Please contact us to confirm the toilet and shower facilities in your chosen campervan before booking.

Portable toilets are available as an optional extra for €50 per hire, subject to availability. A portable toilet and toilet tent package costs €80 per hire. Please contact us before booking to arrange the package. Selecting the toilet and tent separately online uses the individual prices shown.

  4. How much is the security deposit?
A refundable €2,000 security deposit is required for each booking. This is separate from the hire charge and is refundable subject to the hire terms and conditions, including any applicable deductions.

  5. How can I pay the security deposit?
Please review the hire terms and contact us before collection to confirm the accepted payment method and any card requirements for your security deposit.

  6. What is the minimum number of days I can hire a camper?

The standard minimum hire is three nights. During peak season, from June to September, the minimum is five nights.

The maximum hire period is 30 nights unless otherwise agreed in writing. Please contact us if you are planning a longer trip.

  7. Do you supply bedding?

Bedding is an optional extra and is not included in the standard hire price.

A bedding kit costs €25 per person and includes one sleeping bag, one pillow and one pillow cover. Kits are subject to availability.

  8. What seatbelts are fitted in the campervans?
Please contact us to confirm the number and type of belted passenger seats in your chosen campervan before booking. The number of sleeping spaces does not necessarily match the number of seats available for travelling.

  9. Can I use a child car seat?

Please contact us before booking so we can confirm a suitable vehicle and compatible child-seat arrangement. Let us know your child’s age, height and weight.

Baby or child seats are available as an optional extra for €30 per hire, subject to availability and compatibility with the selected vehicle.

  10. What documents do I need to bring?

All named drivers must be present at collection and bring their full, valid driving licence and the identification required under the hire terms.

If your licence is not in English, contact us before booking to confirm whether an official translation or international driving permit is required.

  11. What driving licence and age requirements apply?

Drivers must be aged 25–70 and hold a full Category B licence valid for the chosen vehicle. You must have held your full licence for at least two years.

Our fleet has manual transmission, so your licence must permit you to drive a manual vehicle. Driver eligibility remains subject to the applicable insurance and hire conditions.

  12. Is insurance included in the rental price?

Standard insurance is included for eligible named drivers, subject to the hire terms, exclusions and applicable excess.

Optional insurance and excess-reduction products are available at an additional charge. Their effect on your liability depends on the product terms. Please review the cover and remaining excess before choosing an option.

  13. Are bike racks available?
Bike racks are available as an optional extra for €50 per hire, subject to availability and suitability for your chosen campervan. Please confirm your requirements before booking.

  14. Is there a television in the campervan?
Please contact us to confirm whether your chosen campervan has a television. Television equipment is not confirmed as a standard feature across the fleet.

  15. What time are collection and return?

Standard collection is between 2 pm and 4 pm. Your campervan should be returned by noon on the agreed return date.

Collection details and directions are provided with your booking confirmation. Contact us in advance if you need an alternative time.

  16. Is weekend collection or return available?
Please contact us before booking to confirm collection and return arrangements for your preferred weekend dates. Alternative arrangements are subject to availability and may involve an additional charge.

  17. Can I leave my car while I’m away?
Customer car storage is available for €15 per day, subject to availability. Please arrange this in advance and confirm the storage arrangements with us before collection.

  18. Can I travel to Northern Ireland or elsewhere in Europe?

Travel within the Republic of Ireland is permitted. If you plan to visit Northern Ireland, please confirm this with us before booking.

For travel beyond Ireland, contact us before making arrangements. Permission and insurance cover for other destinations must be confirmed in advance.
